Hundreds Gather For David Carradine’s Funeral (Photos)

Mourners gathered in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon for actor David Carradine’s funeral. Read more about Carradine’s funeral and which celebrities attended.

Fellow actors, friends, and family gathered in Los Angeles to honor the life of David Carradine, star of “Kill Bill” and “Kung Fu”.

Carradine, 72, was found hanging in a Bangkok hotel room June 4. Authorities are still investigating his death, but do not believe it to be a suicide.

Carradine’s funeral and burial were private.  The services were attended by Carradine’s brother, Keith Carradine, longtime friend Michael Madsen and “Kill Bill” co-stars Lucy Liu and Daryl Hanah. .Other celebrities in attendance included Tom Selleck, Edward James Olmos, and Jane Seymour.

The ceremony is reported to have been both sad and humorous. David Carradine’s brother Bruce told People Magazine “There weren’t a lot of tears, but there was a lot of laughter.”
