Any traditional Catholic who followed Mel to the "catholic" church which he founded are guilty also and should look at themselves before they cast stones at him. As a Latin Mass loving Catholic I believe what the Church teaches -- if you break away from the Pope then you are a Protestant. Those of you who followed him there must not gossip -- but instead pray for him and for yourselves. And come back home. There are obedient choices for tradition loving Catholics in the LA area. I wish he would close down the catholic Mel cult he founded. Pride is the root of all sin.
