“Octo-Mel” Mel Gibson Confirms Girlfriend Oksana’s Pregnancy (VIDEO)

Mel Gibson, who is soon to be divorced, confirmed that his girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant. Read more and see the video of the announcement below.

The actor joked with Tonight Show’s Jay Leno that he is Octo-Mel, now expecting his eighth child. Mel Gibson has seven children with estranged wife, Robyn Gibson.

“I guess I’m ‘Octo-Mel,’ ” quipped Gibson, 58.

Rumors have been swirling that Gibson’s girlfriend was pregnant, but apparently they were true. Oksana Grigorieva, 39, also had a son with actor Timothy Dalton.

Mel Gibson’s estranged wife, Robyn, filed for divorce in April after 28 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. But Mel Gibson’s counter petition said they had been separated since August 2006,which would have been shortly after Mel’s DUI.

“My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then,” Gibson told Leno. “These things happen. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, but you know she is an admirable woman—we still got kids together, we’re friends.

“Look, when it’s all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I’m to blame. If you’re inclined to judge, put it here.”
