Meg White Marries Jackson Smith In Nashville (Photos)

White Stripes drummer Meg White married Jackson Smith in a Nashville wedding held in the backyard of her band partner and ex-husband, Jack White. Read more on Meg White’s wedding below.

The wedding ceremony last Friday was a double wedding for Meg White and Jackson Smith as well as Dead Weather and the Raconteurs bassist “Little” Jack Lawrence and Jo McCaughey.

There was a small party with relatives and friends in attendance.

Meg White, 34, drummer for the White Stripes, became engaged early this year to Jackson Smith. Jackson is the son of punk singer Patti Smith and guitarist Fred “Sonic” Smith of the band MC5.

Meg was married previously to her bandmate Jack White, but they divorced in 2000.
