Spider-Man 3 Actress Lucy Gordon Left Two Suicide Notes Before Hanging Herself

Actress Lucy Gordon reportedly left two suicide notes in her Paris apartment before hanging herself, after an argument with her boyfriend Jerome Almeras. Read more on this tragic story below.

The British actress, 28, lived with her boyfriend, cinematographer Jerome Alemeras, who discovered her body.

Gordon’s father, Richard Gordon, said his daughter died from hanging and no other marks were found on her body.

The French media reported that Almeras cut her down, then ran to a nearby shop for help after finding her body Wednesday morning.

A police officer said the scene in the flat was “absolutely horrific.” He added: ‘There will be a post-mortem examination, but there were no indications it was anything other than suicide.’

Richard Gordon spoke to reporters in Oxford on the day that would have been his daughter’s 29th birthday saying, “There is no question of foul play. Lucy committed suicide.”

Almeras was sleeping in the apartment when she hanged herself Tuesday: “We speak to him daily and he is also distraught.”

Police have questioned Almeras for the last two days in regard to his lover’s death. They were both working on the film Cineman at the time of her death. They reportedly had an argument on the day she took her life.

“She had been acting since the age of two, which was really as soon as she could walk,” Richard Gordon told reporters. “Her career had been just taking off, and it’s a tragedy that it has been cut short so soon.”

Gordon played the part of  British TV reporter Jennifer Dugan in Spider-Man 3 and was a Cover Girl model before beginning her acting career.
