Actor Rip Torn Gets Probation In DUI Case (Photos)

Actor Rip Torn was given probation in his drunken driving case in Connecticut. Read more on Rip Torn below.

Rip Torn, 78, was given approval to enter an alcohol education program. Rip Torn also needs to be retested for his driver’s license due to his hearing impairment, but will still be allowed to drive.

The actor was arrested in December near his home driving a car with a Christmas tree tied to the top. He pleaded not guilty in January to drunken driving.

Rip Torn already has to previous DUI arrests in New York.

Torn has been on the TV comedy “30 Rock” and also had a part in the “Men in Black” movies.
