Cutie Ethan Zohn, winner of Survivor: Africa, has begun his battle with cancer. Read more on Ethan Zohn’s story below.

Ethan Zohn, 35, faced surviving in Africa, and now faces the hardest battle of all… cancer.

“This is the ultimate game of Survivor and there’s really only one outcome, and that’s to win,” Ethan says. “There’s no other option.”

After having itching and night sweats, Ethan thought he had a skin condition. But April 30, Zohn was diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin’s disease.  Ethan had a swollen lymph node and found a mass on the left side of his chest, and doctors said Ethan had a  rare form of the disease called CD20-positive Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Ethan Zohn started his chemotherapy last Friday.

“My life flashed before my eyes,” Zohn says of hearing his diagnosis. Zohn and his girlfriend,Survivor season-six winner Jenna Morasca, have lost parents to cancer.

Zohn will begin losing his darling curly hair in the next few weeks, but plans to just shave his head.

“My hair is my identity,” he told the magazine. “I’ll get a Mohawk or something fun that I’ve always wanted to do…I’ll roll with the punches as it comes to me. That’s how I work,” he says. “I’m not getting voted out of this one.
