Gerard Butler Charged With Misdemeanor Criminal Battery (Photos)

Actor Gerard Butler has been charged with misdemeanor criminal battery due to an incident with a photographer. Read more on Gerard Butler’s charges below.

Gerard Butler had an “altercation with a photographer” at 2 a.m. on Oct. 7. This was the night of Butler’s RocknRolla premiere.

TMZ first reported the incident, and stated that Butler punched a paparazzo several times in the face at L.A.’s Crown Bar before getting into his limo.

If convicted, Butler could be in jail for up to six months. Gerard Butler will be arraigned on June 10.
