Ex Nascar Driver Kevin Grubb Found Dead At 31 (Photos)

Former Nascar driver, Kevin Grubb, was found dead Wednesday at a hotel near Richmond, Virginia. Kevin Grubb was only 31. Read more on Grubb’s death below.

Kevin Grubb, 31, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, was suspended from Nascar events in 2006 after refusing to submit to a drug test after a second-lap crash at Richmond International Raceway.

Before that in March of 2004, Kevin Grubbs failed a Nascar mandated drug test and was suspended indefinitely.

Kevin Grubb is the little brother of  former Nascar driver Wayne Grubb.

Kevin Grubb’s body was found in a room at the Virginia motel Wednesday. Police did not comment on the cause of death, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.

“Right now, it’s an ongoing death investigation,” Henrico County Police Lt. Richard Cosby said. “There doesn’t appear to be anything unusual or suspicious.”
