Sting’s Teen Daughter Coco Fractures Skull In Freak Accident (Photos)

Sting’s teenage daughter, Coco Sumner, is in a Los Angeles hospital recovering after fracturing her skull in a freak accident. Read more on Coco’s injury below.

Coco Sumner, 18, is currently in intensive care after she collapsed in a Los Angeles restaurant last weekend, hitting her head on a chair as she fell to the ground.

Singer Sting rushed to his daughter’s bedside and his wife, Trudie Styler, flew in quickly from London.

The Daily Mail reported on Sunday, “One of the waiters helped her to her feet but she complained that she didn’t feel well. The staff and Coco’s friend were very concerned and called for an ambulance and Coco was taken to hospital. No one was taking any chances as it was quite a scary fall. She hadn’t had anything to drink and it happened quite early into the evening.

“The doctors are still running tests. Obviously it’s a serious injury and Coco is under constant surveillance. Trudie and Sting were obviously besides themselves with worry. It was a blessing that Sting was in the States at the time and was able to get to the hospital so quickly. Coco is still very shaken.”

The family spokesman said, “It was a worrying time for Sting and Trudie but, thankfully, Coco is recovering well.”

Coco is an aspiring singer and songwriter who is currently living in L.A. while she completes her first album.
