Sam Lufti Ordered To Stay Away From Britney Spears For Three Years!

A judge has ordered Britney Spears’ former manager, Sam Lufti, and an attorney, Jon Eardley, to stay away from Britney Spears  for the next three years. Read more on this restraining order below.

LA  Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb issued her ruling Tuesday after listening to testimony and arguments in recent weeks from Lufti and Eardley, as well as lawyers for Spears’ father, Jamie.

Osama “Sam” Lutfi and attorney Jon Eardley have been ordered to stay away from Britney, and to not contact, threaten or try to act on her or her sons’ behalf for the next three years.

Lawyers for Lutfi and Eardley said they will appeal the ruling, saying the hearing didn’t prove the singer suffered substantial emotional distress as a result of their actions.

Lutfi’s attorney, Bryan J. Freedman, said evidence showed Spears had asked for Lufti’s help.

“Never before in the history of the world has a restraining order been issued against someone who merely responded to cries for help,” Freedman said.

Jamie Spears and his lawyers petitioned for lengthy restraining orders against these men in January, saying the men were conspiring along with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib to undermine the conservatorship. Bobb  issued a three-year restraining order against Ghalib last month. Ghalib is a former boyfriend of Britney’s.

The hearing included testimony from Jamie Spears, Britney’s security, as well as a hairdresser.  The hairdresser testified that Britney Spears told her she was scared of Lutfi and didn’t want to have anything to do with him.

Jamie Spears’ lawyer, Joel Boxer, said the restraining order request was “unusual,” but was necessary to protect the singer from “people who I think are fairly characterized as predators.”

Boxer said in Lutfi’s case, the contact amounted to breaking a promise to not contact Spears, which was reached in an agreement between him and Jamie Spears last summer.

Britney Spears is currently on her “Circus” tour and did not appear during hearings on the petitions, despite repeated requests by Lutfi and Eardley’s lawyers for her to testify.
