Freddie Mac CFO David Kellermann Suicide: Kellermann Found Hanged In His Home (Photos)
Police say David Kellermann, the CFO of mortgage company Freddie Mac, was found hanging in the basement of Virginia home, dead of apparent suicide early this morning. Read more on Kellermann’s suicide below.
Fairfax County police officer Sabrina Ruck said David Kellermann’s death was “an active investigation” and there were “no signs of foul play.”
Police were called to David Kellermann’s home around 5 am this morning, but no details on who called 911.
David Kellermann, 41, had been with Freddie Mac 16 years and has been the Chief Financial Officer since September.
Freddie Mac had been slammed for bad business practices that some said contributed to the housing and financial crisis.
