Duggar Family Expanding!: Oldest Son Josh & Wife Anna Duggar Expecting (Photos)

The Duggar Family is expecting yet again… but this time it’s Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s eldest son, Josh and wife Anna Duggar! Read more on Josh and Anna Duggar below.
Josh Duggar, the oldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s 18 children, announced Monday on the Today show that he and his wife, Anna, are expecting. The couple, who were married in September, said Anna Duggar is due Oct. 18.
“I am three months right now and feeling great. Morning sickness is pretty much all gone, and so we’re looking forward to the birth of our baby,” Anna Duggar told NBC’s “Today” show Monday.
The Duggars live in northwest Arkansas and are featured on TLC’s “18 Kids and Counting.” Michelle Duggar gave birth in December to their youngest child, Jordyn-Grace. They are also parents to Jana, 19; John-David, 19; Jill, 17; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 12; Joy-Anna, 11; Jeremiah, 10; Jedidiah, 10; Jason, 8; James, 7; Justin, 6; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 3; and Jennifer, 2.
Josh Duggar said he and Anna haven’t yet picked out a name.
“We’re pretty sure we’re not going to go with J,” he said.
Josh, 21, and Anna, 20, live in Springdale, where they run a car dealership. Josh said he and Anna are frequently asked whether they’ll have a large family.
“We have committed leaving that area up to God as far as our family size,” he said.
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar said they’re thrilled about becoming grandparents.
tJoshua’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, made a name for their ever-growing family on the TLC show “18 Kids & Counting.” The soo-to-be grandparents with infants of their own couldn’t be happier about their son’s new addition.
“We are really excited about being grandparents,” Jim Bob said. “We think it is really going to be easier than being parents.”
And Michelle has gladly offered her daughter-in-law some vital pregnancy tips along the way. “She told me to eat small meals frequently during the day to get through the morning sickness,” Anna said. “And she gave me apricot juice that I’ve been sipping. It really helps a lot.”
After Anna took the pregnancy test, she said she “couldn’t bear to look at it” for fear of being disappointed in the results. So, it was Joshua who broke the happy news to his wife and the rest of the Duggar crew.
“I am very excited and am learning new ways every day that I can be there for my wife,” Joshua said. “I thought that she would be the only one going through the emotions of pregnancy, but I’m right there with her.”
The young couple, who got married last September, owns a car dealership in Springdale, Ark., near the family home in Tontitown. Anna is even being treated by Dr. Amy Sarver, who delivered Joshua’s three youngest siblings, Johannah, Jennifer and Jordyn-Grace.

Oh how I used to admire and practically worship Michelle Duggar ~ she was my role model ~ my inspiration.
Our family shared a lot of the same beliefs ~ we were committed to letting the Lord “plan our family” ~ and even though I had c-section deliveries and complications which nearly killed me ~ I would have continued to live and espouse the lifestyle ~ that is, until the pressure of being perfect drove my oldest daughter to despair. When she ended up in the psych ward after attempting to kill herself ~ I finally woke up to what a warped and twisted belief system and lifestyle we were following.
I am no longer having all the babies which “the Lord chooses to bless me with” ~ I am no longer striving to be the perfect godly wife and mother ~ I am no longer homeschooling (brainwashing) my kids ~ and I am No Longer Quivering

I have followed the Duggar family ever since Josh first filmed the debut of the show..”16 kids….”. I have to tell you that I think Michelle is doing so much more harm to her body than she realizes…the older she gets, the bigger chance she will deliver a Down’s baby. Now what would she think of that????
She needs to quit for healths sake, if nothing else. Her OB/GYN should caution her way before now!!!!
I knew Anna would be pregnant before the years end….that’s a given. Maybe they will be smarter and have a small family. You’d think he’d be SICK of babies by now…….but is that up to God?????

The Duggars are a great Christian family. I really like the show and all of thier values.
You can wright all the ugly comments you want, however, this family has it all together. Great kids with good morals. Debt free. They pay all of their bills. How can anyone write anything rude?? If more Americans were more like that, what a better place it would be.
