A friend of the couple confirmed that Freddie and Sarah are expecting. “They’re very excited,” says the source, adding that Gellar, 31, is due in the fall.

Gellar, who has been married to Prinze, 33, for six years, met in 1997 on the set of “I Know What You Did Last Summer”.

Best known as the sexy heroine on TV’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Gellar is set to shoot a pilot for a possible HBO series “The Wonderful Maladays,” of which she will also serve as an executive producer.

“She’s All That” star Prinze Jr. recently appeared in the pilot “No Heroics” for ABC, People.com said.
