UK singer Amy Winehouse is still vacationing in St. Lucia, where she is currently house hunting to escape the temptations in London.

Winehouse seems to be steering clear of hardcore drugs, but has now taken a liking to smoking banana peels.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Amy wandered onto a private porch on Cariblue Beach and began speaking to a group of locals who were smoking banana skins.”

“She made sure there wasn’t anything really bad in them because she’s being so good now.”

“They made one in front of her using dried strings from the inside of the peel instead of tobacco, and putting it onto a piece of rolling paper. She loved it and has taken to drying her own peel in the sun and smoking it in the evening.”

Amy seems to be putting her drinking and drug habits behind her, trying to stay clean.

She is quoted as saying: “I’m clean now and feel much better for it. I’m just a normal girl now.”

Winehouse, 25, appears tan and relaxed, and was spotted riding a horse on the beach.

Amy’s record label has reportedly decided to embrace her desire to start a new life in St. Lucia and plan to finance a recording studio in her new home, so she can work on new tracks for the follow up to award-winning album “Back To Black.”
