“Angel” actor Andy Hallett died of heart failure on Sunday at the young age of 33. Hallett played theĀ friendly demon Lorne in the former The WB series. Read more on Andy Hallett’s life and death below.
Actor Andy Hallett passed away at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after battling heart disease for five years.
Hallett is known for his “Angel” character as Lorne. But Hallett was also a singer. Andy Hallett did two songs, “Lady Marmalade” and “It’s Not Easy Being Green,” on the “Angel: Live Fast, Die Never” soundtrack, released in 2005.
In a 2005 interview, Hallett explained that an ignored tooth infection had led to a case of cardiomyopathy, which caused his heart not to pump as efficiently.
Andy’s father Dave Hallett was at his side when he died at the hospital on Sunday.
A private funeral service will be held in Cape Cod for family and close friends at the weekend.
Our condolences to the family, friends, and many fans of Andy Hallett.

That’s a shame.
He was a nice guy and deserved a long life.
That the aftermath of a tooth infection can do that to you just seems wrong.
Faulty design we humans have.
