I was fortunate to know Danny back in the day when he was just getting started, along with John Ford Coley, and their early band, The Southwest F.O.B.

Danny stayed true to his roots and his friends. He had a fabulous sense of humor, despite being somewhat shy, and was a true gentleman and one of the kindest spirits I’ve ever known.

God speed, Danny. Rest in peace.
