Wonder Years’ Danica McKellar Weds Composer Mike Verta (Photos)

The Wonder Years’ “Winne Cooper” aka Danica McKellar married her composer boyfriend Mike Verta on Sunday. Read more on Danica McKellar’s wedding below.

Actress Danica McKellar tied the knot with boyfriend Mike Verta on Sunday in a sunset, oceanside ceremony.

McKellar, 34, and composer Mike Verta, 36, have been together since 2001. The couple exchanged vows in front of approximately 150 guests.

Although “Winnie Cooper’s” on-screen boyfriend Fed Savage didn’t make it to the wedding, there were other “Wonder Years” stars present including Danica’s sister, Crystal McKellar, Dan Lauia, and Alley Mills, who played the Arnold parents on the show.

“We wanted an intimate, formal event,” McKellar stated. Danica wore a mermaid-style Renee Strauss gown and tiara, and walked down the aisle to the accompaniment of the San Diego Symphony.

Most of us remember Danica McKellar as an actres but she went on to become a mathematician who has written two books called “Math Doesn’t Suck” and “Kiss My Math”.
