M.I.A. Names Baby Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman (Photos)

Singer M.I.A. seemed very upset when the media said she had named her new baby Ickitt. But TMZ got their hands on the birth certificate and M.I.A.’s baby is named Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman. Ikhyd and Ickitt are pretty damn close huh?
As soon as it was reported that she had named her baby boy Ickitt, M.I.A. lashed out at the reports on her MySpace to shoot those rumors down! But it turns out the baby still has a freaky name. Ikhyd? WTF?
M.I.A. whose real name is Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam is also said to be 33 years old, born July 18, 1975. Seems the singer has lied about her age a bit!
After making a huge deal out of the baby name rumors and slamming the name Ickitt, M.I.A. has named her baby Ikhyd!

i think this blog is stupid. clearly ikhyd is either a sri lankan, tamil or indian name. it suits her baby a lot and it’s not as weird as some of the other ridiculous baby names out there. and maya didn’t lie about her age, wikipedia did so get your facts straight.

Ikhyd is no Sri Lankan name or sounds Sri Lankan at all. Definitely European like Elkhart or something. Anyway it is her wish to call her baby Velupillai, Rajapakse or Lucifer if she wants.

I like everything about MIA and she is the only reason I would ever end up on such a retarded hateful site a this. But I am happy to discover that MIA has the same birthday as me! I wonder if her baby will be as beautiful as she is.
