Annika Sorenstam and husband Mike McGee are expecting their first child! The former golfer walked away from the LPGA after many wins, but wanting to start a family. Read more on Annika Sorenstam and Mike McGee below.

Annika Sorenstam made the announcement on Thursday that she and her husband, Mike McGee, are expecting their first child due this fall.

“We have had a lot of exciting changes in the past few months, and adding a new addition to our family later this fall will certainly be at the top of that list,” Sorenstam said. “We are absolutely thrilled and look forward to this new chapter of our lives.

Annika Sorenstam and Mike McGee married in Orlando, Florida on January 10, 2009.

Sorenstam left her golf career behind in December of 2008 after winning 72 victories, and 10 majors.

One of Sorenstam’s goals when leaving the golfing world was to start a business. Annika started a clothing line with Cutter & Buck and a signature scent by SA Fragrances.
