Billionaire Steve Wynn & Wife Elaine Wynn To Divorce (Again)

Billionaire Las Vegas casino owner Steve Wynn and wife Elaine are once again headed for divorce. Read more on Steve and Elaine Wynn’s pending divorce below. Could it be due to another woman named Andrea Hissom?

Clark County District Court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer told The Associated Press on Tuesday that divorce papers were filed March 5 and sealed by a judge the same day. This sealing means no other details of the divorce will be made public.

A spokeswoman for Wynn Resorts Ltd. said they will not comment on the Wynn’s personal life.

Steve Wynn is CEO of the Las Vegas-based casino company, which reported $210.2 million in net income for 2008. Steve’s wife Elaine Wynn, 66, is a director on the company’s board.

This leaves many wondering how the divorce will affect the company.

Andrew Pascal, president and chief operating officer of Wynn Resorts subsidiary Wynn Las Vegas LLC, is a nephew of the Wynns from Elaine’s branch of the family.

Steve Wynn, 67, received $11.2 million in compensation for the company’s top job in 2007, a year its stock price rose as the company expanded in Las Vegas and Macau, the Chinese gambling enclave.

Rumor has it that the divorce has been initiated by Elaine because of another woman.

Reportedly, Steve Wynn left Elaine for a “younger British woman,” named Andrea Hissom. Hissom is a divorced mother of two older sons. Andrea was married to Robert Davis Hissom, a financial analyst for Aspen Capital Partners Ltd. of Europe.
