Professional Poker Player Ernie Scherer III Arrested For Murder Of Parents (Photos)

Poker player, Ernie Scherer III, son of a couple found beaten to death last year in their CA home, has been arrested in Las Vegas for murder.
Police in Clark County, Nevada say Ernie Scherer III is currently being held without bail at a Las Vegas jail on a warrant issued out of Alameda County, California.
Ernie Scherer III, 30, has been described as a person of interest in the brutal beating of parents Ernie Scherer Jr. and his wife, Charlene Abendroth.
Scherer , 60, and Abendroth, 57, were found dead in their home in March of 2008.
They were reportedly dead for about a week before their bodies were found. Their daughter had tried to contact them and was unable to reach them.
During the course of their investigation, deputies had searched the home of the younger Scherer and seized his car.
Scherer Jr. dabbled in professional poker, but was a full-time real estate investor, while his wife of 31 years was a lecturer at Cal State East Bay, according to the Times.

Just because he has facial hair and was a poker player dose not make him guilty! Statements like that are the reason people in this country dont get fair trials!
