**Goody marries
Terminally ill reality TV star Jade Goody has tied the knot with her fiance in an “emotional, wonderful” ceremony, according to her publicist.
Goody – who shot to fame on U.K. reality TV series Big Brother – wed partner Jack Tweed on Sunday (22Feb09), receiving a standing ovation after they exchanged vows.
The star – who is battling cervical cancer – arrived at the Down Hall Country House Hotel by helicopter in “a lot of pain”, and was so weak she was forced to sit down at the end of the ceremony.
Nonetheless, Goody was moved to tears by the “lovely things that were being said”, according to her spokesperson Max Clifford.
Clifford says: “She had a bad evening (the night before). She was excited. She has been overdoing it. She needed quite a bit of medical help.”
Celebrity guests at the bash included TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan and former Blue singer Antony Costa.
Goody announced last week (14Feb09) she has just months to live, after doctors told her they are powerless to treat her cancer. (PAW/WN/SW)

Reality TV star Jade Goody visits a local nail salon after meeting a friend for lunch. Goody, currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cervical cancer, wore a headscarf to cover her bald head. The 27 year old learned she had cervical cancer while taking part in the Indian version of TV series Big Brother last year (08). The star was reunited with her boyfriend Jack Tweed on Tuesday (27Jan09) after he was released from prison, where he was serving time for a nightclub assault.
