He did not hit his wife or anyone else that night. I think Toby is the one that should have kept his butt on the stage and ignored the man. That is part of entertaining when there is alcohol allowed and I sure that Toby wasn't born yesterday so he knew this. Toby was in the wrong to go off stage the man was on his way out anyway that is why he was going up the stairs toward the doors.
