Roberto Alomar Being Sued By Ex Ilya Dall For Exposing Her To AIDS

Former New York Mets star Roberto Alomar is being sued by ex-girlfriend, Ilya Dall, for having unprotected sex while he had full blown AIDS. Read more on lawsuit against Roberto Alomar below.

Ilya Dall of Queens has stated that Alomar tested positive for HIV in 2006 and was later told he had AIDS. Dall is suing Roberto Alomar for $15 million.

Ilya Dall tested negative for HIV but wants punitive damages for emotional distress. Dall also says her children were exposed to the virus.

Roberto Alomar, 41, is a 12-time All Star and retired from baseball in 2005. Alomar began dating Dall in 2002 and had unprotected sex with her a short time later. Hmm…perhaps she should have made him wear a condom?

The lawsuit doesn’t state that Alomar was aware of having AIDS at the time, but thinks he could have because doctors kept wanting Alomar to be tested. Alomar kept putting the test off and told her he was disease free. But in 2004 Roberto began getting cold sores and was diagnosed with full blown AIDS the next year.

Roberto Alomar confided to Ilya Dall that he was raped by two Mexican men after playing a ballgame in New Mexico, according to the suit.

Alomar showed other symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, a chronic cough, and fatigue.

In January 2006, Roberto Alomar tested positive for HIV. Just over a week later his doctors discovered a mass in his chest. Alomar underwent a spinal tap and it was discovered he had full blown AIDS.

Sadly Alomar is most remembered for a an incident back in 1996 when he spat in an umpires face during an argument when he was playing for the Orioles. Maybe the umpire will want to sue Alomar too!
