Saving Abel’s Guitarist Jason Null Accused Of Sexual Assault (Photos/Video)

Saving Abel’s lead guitarist, Jason Null, is in big trouble after being accused of sexual assault of a 17 year-old girl. Also facing charges is guitar stringer Brandon Danger. Read more on Saving Abel’s sexual assault below.

Jason Null, 33, and Brandon J. Danger, 21, were charged Friday with an illegal sex act with a 17-year-old girl who was lured onto their tour bus after being promised she could be in a rock video.

Jason Null, 33, of Cornith, Miss., a founder and lead guitarist of the group Saving Abel, and Brandon J. Danger, 21, a guitar stringer from Tampa, Fla., were each charged with felony counts of forced oral copulation and forced oral copulation on a minor, authorities said.

They were arraigned on the charges Friday afternoon in Oakland. Null, who is free on $90,000 bail, pleaded not guilty. Danger, who is in custody on $60,000 bail, will be back in court Feb. 10 to enter a plea.

“It is our position that the charges that have been made are baseless,” said Null’s attorney Kevin Ikuma. “He will be fully exonerated once this case is fully investigated. There is a videotape of the entire incident that the police knew about that they failed to collect at the time of the incident. We are in the process of getting that to the district attorney for their review.”

Saving Abel was one of several groups to open for Avenged Sevenfold.

The girl and her 15-year-old brother, who live in the Central Valley, were inside the arena when the girl was approached about 10:45 p.m. by Danger after their band had finished performing, police said. Danger asked the girl if she wanted to be in a rock video, and she was apparently led to believe it was going to be filmed on the group’s bus parked outside the arena. Uh, yeah right!

Once she was inside the bus, the girl said she was forced to commit the sex act.  After saying she wanted to stop, she was allowed to leave the bus, police said. The girl found her brother, they called their mother and flagged down security officers who contacted police. Null and Danger were arrested at the scene. Tisdell said Null claimed the sex act was consensual. Danger would not give a statement, police said. Calls to Danger’s attorney were not returned Friday.
