Erykah Badu & Jay Electronica Welcome Baby Girl (Photos)

Singer Erykah Badu and rapper Jay Electronica and soul singer Erykah Badu are the new parents of a baby girl! Read more on the babies birth and see photos of Jay Electronica and Erykah below.

Jay Electronia gave continued updates on his Twitter page saying, “Feb 1. 2009 my first child, my daughter was born at 1:30 pm exactly. Its the happiest day of my life.”

And right before the baby was born, Electronica said, “I see the head. Full of hair.”

Erykah Badu already has a child with Andre 3000 of Outkast, as well as a child with rapper, The D.O.C.

The baby was born on Sunday in the US and both mother and daughter “are doing fine”, the singer’s record label Universal Motown Records Group said.

Congrats to Erykah Badu and Jay Electronica on the birth of their baby girl!
