    all i have to say is that she looked sickly for Dukes of Haazard… she looks thicker now, and beautiful! we are just used to seeing emaciated stars, (5′6 and 104 lbs) when in all reality, she probably does not even have an unhealthy BMI. she is honestly one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, and the nicest as well.

    Oh, no; she does not look beautiful. She looks pudgy, flabby and very overweight. Sites say she is 5′3″ and she’s gotta be squeezing into about a size 16 here…speaking from personal past experience as a fattie, she’s at least 165 lbs., maybe more. Healthy BMI? No way, you do the math. She should weigh about 120-125 and has no reason in hell not to…it’s not like she’s had kids…she’s still very young…and she has the free time and the money to work out every day, not to mention have healthy meals made for her.

    I def. agree that she looks better when she isn’t skeletal… and she has always struggled with weight, but my honest opinion is that she really let herself go!

    most of the comments left here so far are – surprise surprise – by women. From a guys perspective, the super-high waist band, bingo wings, and neck folds on the left sided picture suggests that people who prefer her as that size are totally deluded. fact.

    I need to see pictures from this event from another angle from another photographer (or other recent pictures of Simpson). These pictures don’t look like the correct aspect ratio (not to mention when you shoot someone from below, they tend to look wider) which I’m guessing is adding 20-40lbs right there.

    Okay, first of all, that is NOT a size 16.. those people who guessed her size are crazy.
    Second of all, she needs a new outfit. She would look tons better in something sleeker.
    Third, she’s getting older and is allowed to add a bit of weight.
    Fourth, COME ON, most of America is obese anyways – so most of the people looking at pictures of her getting fat are people who are probably a lot heavier than she is. No one is concerned about her health – the overweight people want to see these so they can feel better and the twigs want to see these so they can pretend they’re better than Jessica Simpson.
    Besides, her face is prettier now – it’s not a starving hollowed out face.

    I really don’t like Jessica Simpson as an actress or singer (I’ve never met her so I can’t judge her character), but shut up about the weight.

    Gross. She looks fat….and yes I’m a girl. Her outfit is also very unflattering, and she could probably look thinner with something else on.

    We’re all entitled to our own opinions. Let’s face it, the downside of being a multi-millionaire public figure is withstanding criticism from the public. If you suddenly gain 40+ lbs., expect to be called fat. Period.

    OK SHE HAS GAINED ALITTLE WEIGHT ….SO WHAT . SHE IS NOT IN A SIZE 16 LIKE MICHELLE SAYS . SHE IS PROBABLY IN LIKE AN 8 MAX. I DONT SEE WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS .     yes, skeletal is not healthy, but when you are paid to look good you have no excuse to get fat. come on people, she has everything at her finger tips to stay in shape…IT WHAT SHE IS PAID TO DO; look good to promote her crappy bags, shoes and music. SEX(Y) sells. and you all know it. bottom line, she should fire her stylist…that belt is doing NOTHING for her gut.

    She’s not fat but she’s definitely gained weight. She needs to rethink that outfit and tone up a bit. I don’t feel a lot of sympathy for her though. She’s paid to look good. It’s her job. I actually think she packed on the pounds as a publicity stunt. Her album isn’t doing so great so gaining – then losing a bunch of weight is a great way to get publicity.

    I am a size 8ish-9. (weight watchers now!!yah!)anyways….36 DD, her size stomach (not a belly!)…if I wore those high-waisted jeans and a leopard style double belt, with a tight black tank in one size slighty too small I would look the same exact same way dancing up on stage. This is just a poor oufit choice! Who cares about her wein gain!

    Being fat is not ugly. If you look at history, women of all different body types have been glorified as being beautiful. Just look at the 50’s and the iconic Marilyn Monroe. By todays’ standards, she would be considered overweight. Marilyn Monroe was not ugly and I think many would agree with that. Someone that is her size can be healthy by working out and eating right and someone who is skinny can be unhealthy by not working out and not eating right.
    I’m a size 12 right now and I exercise and eat healthy. I have a healthy BMI and am in good health with no medical problems. I have been a size 2 and was sick all of the time from not eating healthy and being so concerned with my pants size. And yes I am still beautiful.

    Normally I don’t give a hoot or a holler about a celebritie’s weight. If they want to gain or lose a few pounds, so be it, it doesn’t effect me. But for a celeb like Jessica Simpson, who in my opinion has no natural singing or acting talent, the only good thing going for her is a hot body, which she doesn’t have anymore.

    jessica is a fat hog now. i am also a fatty, and hate it. how could she throw it all away? i’m so dissapointed she had everything now she’s just fat. there is no excuse for her, i have been struggling for years, and overcame it some, then had a baby. so i’m once again struggling, she just decided to get fat. what a stupid b__ch!

    SHE IS A BIG FATTY BOOMBALADA! The other picture isn’t skeletal she looks fit and healthy. If i could grab something of jessica simpsons i’d rather it be firm than flabby. I would not sleep with the fat one even if she begged me, you would have to roll that in flour to find the wet spot. No FAT CHICKS! oh i was fat before btw and i lost +20kg by doing the right thing for my body, good food and excersise and plenty of sex with skinny women
