Aubrey Coleman Steps On Chase Budinger’s Face (VIDEO)

Posted on January 25, 2009

Houston Cougar player Aubrey Coleman stepped on the face of Chase Budinger which will go down as one of the most brutal plays on a basketball court this decade. Instead of admonishing his player, Penders decided to protect Coleman saying:

“I know Aubrey, and I have never seen him lose his temper or composure or anything,” said Penders, who called Coleman the Cougars’ best player. “I’m just sorry the official interpreted it that way. The way I saw it, Aubrey got tangled, and his momentum carried him forward, and I think it was a mistake.”

Budinger says that he believes that Coleman stepped on him purposely:

“He stepped on my face, and you can see some footprints on my jersey,” Budinger said, adding he thought it was deliberate. “Without a doubt. . . . Anytime you get kicked in the face, I’d hope you’d retaliate.”

Just another example of RACISM that will be overlooked. Swap the colors of the players and Al Sharpton himself would have been there.
