A year ago tomorrow (THURSDAY JANUARY 22), acclaimed actor Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs at his apartment in Manhattan.
The tragedy sent shockwaves through the showbiz world, as Ledger’s performance in Brokeback Mountain had already seen him nominated for a Best Actor Oscar – with rumours he had fared even better as The Joker in Batman movie The Dark Knight, due for release just months after his death.
