It appears as if Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson are ready to try their hand at married life.

“An engagement is on the way,” a source says in the new issue of Us Weekly. Simpson and her football beau, Tony Romo, are “getting there — and they will announce it when it happens.”

The Simpson family seems to approve of Tony Romo as he was spotted having dinner with Jessica’s parents, and then golfed with her father, Joe Simpson the following day.
