TV Reporter Beth McDonough Sentenced For DWI (Photos)

Beth McDonough, a former KMSP-TV reporter was sentenced to 30 days on house arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and crashing into another car last fall. Read more on Beth McDonough below.
The incident that happened on Halloween was not McDonough’s first brush with the law. She was previously convicted of third-degree driving while under the Influence in October 2007.
In December of 2007, McDonough’s license was revoked but her driving privileges were reinstated in June of 2008. McDonough held a license when she hit Andy Lange’s car at 80 miles an hour.
According to the charges, McDonough was driving with a .24 blood-alcohol content. A state trooper at the scene observed her stumbling, falling over and trying to keep herself upright by leaning against the vehicle.
Beth McDonough was sentenced on Wednesday. In addition to her 30 days of house arrest, she will be on probation for three years.
According to a story on KMSP’s Web site, McDonough no longer works at the station.
