Natalie Dylan’s Virginity Auction Up To $2.5 Million (Photos)

The young woman uses the fake name of Natalie Dylan to keep her identity secret.  She thinks auctioning her virginity is no huge deal.

“I know that a lot of people will condemn me because it’s so taboo, but I really don’t have a problem with that,” said Natalie Dylan, 22, a student from San Diego.

“I am not being sold into this, I’m not being taken advantage of in any way. Me and the person I do it with will both profit greatly from the deal.”

The auction is being held on the website of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a notorious legal brothel in Nevada where Ms Dylan says she will consummate the deal with the winning bidder.

The brothel’s owner, Dennis Hof, said he thought the auction for her virginity was “a tremendous idea”.

“Why lose it to some guy in the back seat of a Toyota when you can pay for your education?” he said.

Since then bids have rocketed from $243,000 to $3.8 million with an unnamed 39-year-old Australian businessman as the highest current bidder.

Miss Dylan said the response has been overwhelming and in some cases, downright bizarre.

“I get really, really off the wall stuff,” she said.

“I get some really out there ones like this one guy who works at a zoo and he offered to break out a tiger — then there’s this guy who offered to divulge medical secrets.”

The auction has been going since July last year, but Miss Dylan said she doesn’t have a set date to end it, if she does go through with it.

“I don’t have a set date — each day I get about a hundred different emails — so basically I’ve decided to end this when it dies down,” she said.

“I’ve been offered to write a book, a possible movie deal and there’s other business opportunities coming my way from just putting this out there, so I’m not going to prematurely end something that can bring me a lot of money and success.”

“It’s shocking that men will pay so much for someone’s virginity, which isn’t even prized so highly any more. It’s become some kind of competition between all these men that they all want to win,” she said.

Advocates for family values have condemned the student’s actions. “It’s a perfect example of how decadent our society has become,” said Michael DiPrimo of the American Family Association. “It doesn’t so much shock me as make me sad.”

Dylan’s sister, Avia, has worked as a prostitute at the Bunny Ranch for three weeks, earning enough money to live comfortably through her own degree course.

“I was shocked when Avia told me she was prepared to sleep with people for money, but I was 19 then and quite naive and had no idea about people working in the sex industry,” she said.

“Avia was determined to raise some money quickly and she researched it all and told me how it could be done safely through a legal brothel. She is beautiful and confident, and so she attracted a lot of clients and made several thousand dollars.”

Avia Dylan said she was proud of her sister, who already has a bachelor’s degree in women’s studies after completing a course that included, ironically, the study of the sexual stereotyping of American women.

“I understand fully why she’s doing this, and I don’t know why anyone would criticise her for it,” she said. “I worked there because I wanted to earn my own money so I would have some solid financial grounding.”

Officials at Sacramento State University had no comment on the auction.

Ms Dylan said: “I get some men who are obviously looking for a girlfriend. I’ve had such a range of messages, from weirdos who say they love me to those who get really graphically sexual about what they want to do to me.”
