Dallas’ radio station Live 105.3 is changing its format and it appears Russ Martin has been dropped! Read more on Russ Martin being fired from Live 105.3 below.
The radio station gave a huge clue to their listeners about the change by playing nothing but college fight songs Monday.
At 3 p.m., the station management announced the station will be known as 105.3 The Fan, an all-sports talk radio station.
In a press release sent out after the announcement, KLLI-FM announced its lineup would be anchored by the popular Jagger Show from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by market veteran Kevin Scott and former NFL and Texas A&M football player Greg Hill from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The station’s midday show The Ben and Skin Show moves to the afternoon drive-time slot of 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by Pete Stein and Mike Rodriguez from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
But the popular radio show veteran Russ Martin is nowhere to be found on the new lineup! Russ Martin has held the prized 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. slot.
You might remember when Russ Martin made headlines in July when he was arrested on three misdemeanor charges after an argument with his girlfriend.
In November, Martin turned down a plea bargain. His case goes to trial in January.
Station management said if Martin’s show isn’t listed in the lineup, he’s not a part of the new station format and would not comment further.
Wow! Kinda surprising that Russ Martin has been fired from 105.3!
