Almost sounding like a big Hollywood jewelry heist movie, armed robbers dressed in drag hit the Harry Winston jewelry store in Paris, making out with jewelry worth about $100 million.
Police say the jewelry thieves grabbed rings, necklaces and luxury watches from display cases at the Harry Winston store near the Champs-Elysees.

Police said least two of the bandits were men dressed as women, at times spoke a foreign language and knew the Harry Winston employees’ names. Interesting…. The official was not authorized to be publicly named according to agency policy.
A spokeswoman for the U.S.-based chain of Harry Winston has not made a statement.
This jewelry robbery makes it the largest jewelry theft in Paris ever, reported police.
