Grammy’s 2009 nominations time again! Last night celebrities gathered to celebrate the 51st Annual Grammy Award Nominees. See below to see the list of nominees!

Last night the nominees were announced for the 2009 Grammy Awards. The Grammy’s award show will be aired on a Sunday and will recognize albums released between Oct. 1, 2007, and Sept. 30, 2008.

Here are a few highlights last night’s nominee announcements which included:

Lil Wayne received the largest amount of nominations with eight nods, followed by Coldplay with seven, and Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West each earned six nods.

Leona Lewis and Rihanna each scored three nods, while Madonna and Lady Gaga are both contending for Best Dance Recording. Madonna is also nominated in the Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals category for her collaboration with Justin Timberlake, 4 Minutes.

Pink was nominated in the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance category for So What. Jason Mraz earned a nom for Song of the Year. And, Kathy Griffin was nominated for Best Comedy Album for For Your Consideration. Katy Perry only received a nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, despite having one of the biggest worldwide hits of the year.

The 2009 Grammy Awards will air live from the Los Angeles Staples Center on Feb. 9, 2009. The list of nominees are below:
