Sources say the arguments are so bad that Mark packed his bags and stormed out of their home, flying to Chicago, leaving Kelly in tears.

“Mark wants the big time and he knows Oprah is his ticket,” a source told The ENQUIRER. “He told Kelly for the right opportunity, he’d move to Chicago if he had to.

“But because the couple has three kids – and Kelly is deeply committed to her role on Live with Regis and Kelly – there’s no way she could leave New York and she doesn’t want to live without Mark.”

“If Mark moves out to strike it on his own, Kelly’s whole world will collapse,” reveals the source.

“Kelly doesn’t want Mark to succeed without her,” said the source. “She becomes upset every week when he has to travel from New York to Chicago and spend the night away from the family to appear on Oprah’s show.”

“He walked out leaving Kelly in tears,” continued the source. “They continued to fight over their cell phones until he boarded his plane.”
