New Ladies On SNL Abby Elliot & Michaela Watkins (Photos)

Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins have been signed to join the Saturday Night Live cast and will both debut November 15. Abby Elliot is the daughter of former SNL cast member, Chris Elliot. Read more on Abby Elliot and Michaela Watkins below.

There will be two new ladies added to SNL, and debuting November 15, 2008. Abby Elliot, 21, is the daughter to former SNL cast member Chris Elliott, making her the first child of a former cast member to be hired in SNL’s history.

Abby Elliot voiced the character of “Hipster Girl” on King of the Hill, and brief appearances on Chrissy: Plain & Simple and You’ve Reached the Elliotts.

Michaela Watkins is most well-known as Lucy in the 4th season of The New Adventures of Old Christine. Michaela has also appeared on Eli Stone, Californication, Grey’s Anatomy, Without A Trace, Malcolm in the Middle, Charmed and Medium.

Michaela Watkins and Abby Elliot will be bringing some estrogen to SNL to replace Amy Poehler.
