Jennifer Hudson Family Funeral (Photos)

Mourners numbering in the hundreds attended the private funeral held for Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and young nephew that were recently murdered. Read more about the Hudson family funeral service below.

Onlookers gathered outside of the Apostolic Church of God today for the Hudson family funeral. People attending the service had to have a blue ticket stating “Hudson Family Funeral” to enter the church service.

Police were on hand to direct traffic for the Hudson family funeral service for Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, Jason Hudson, 29, and Julian King, 7.

All three were found shot to death last week. Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were found in Donerson’s home. Little Julian King was found in an SUV several miles away. Julian King, 7, is son to Jennifer Hudson’s older sister, Julia.

Currently Julia Hudson’s estranged husband, William Balfour, 27, remains in custody on a parole violation and as a “person of interest” in the murders.

Monday’s services followed a public memorial held Sunday at Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist Church, Hudson’s childhood church.
