The winner of last years American Idol, David Cook, was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live . David Cook performed his new single “Light On” and he sounded great. See David Cook on SNL video.
Chris Cornell of Audioslave and Soundgarden co-wrote “Light On” with Brian Howes, who also has penned material for Daughtry, Puddle of Mudd and Oklahoma City rockers Hinder.
His second SNL performance was “Declaration,” the first track of his upcoming album.
So what does David now that he’s made the big time with a new album and a gig on SNL?
“I’m still a goober from the Midwest. Now I’ve just got a few more resources. I don’t feel like the show changed me at all.”
