Pakistani Police Break Up Child Wedding Of 5 Year-Old Girl & 7 Year-Old Boy (Photos/Video)
Pakistani police had to raid an illegal child wedding in the city of Karachi between a 5 year-old girl and 7 year-old boy. The children’s parents were arrested as well as the Muslim cleric that was going to do the ceremony.
The parents of the children were freed on bail on Saturday, a day after police broke up the wedding ceremony.

Reportedly, the parents stated that they had arranged the wedding between the children to end a feud of 8 years between the families. But one problem other than it being totally sick is that marriage below the age of 18 is illegal in Pakistan.
Pakistani police raided the child wedding before it was able to proceed in front of around 100 guests.
News footage showed the children dressed in traditional wedding clothes and being carried by a policemen after the raid.
