Estelle Reiner, who as the wife of Carl Reiner and the mother of Rob Reiner, has died at the age of 94. Estelle Reiner is probably most well-known by her hilarious line in “Harry Met Sally”, where she says, “I’ll have what she’s having” after the fake orgasm scene in the diner. Carl Reiner’s wife and Rob Reiner’s mother, Estelle Reiner died Saturday at her Beverly Hills home.

She died of natural causes, said Rob Reiner, who was responsible for his mother’s moment of widest fame.

Rob Reiner, son to Estelle directed the 1989 film “When Harry Met Sally,” and cast his mother as a customer in a New York deli. In the popular scene, Meg Ryan fakes a very erotic orgasm and after she finished, a waitress asked for Estelle Reiner’s order.

“I’ll have what she’s having,” Mrs. Reiner said.

His mother’s place on the list, Mr. Reiner said, gives him a thrill.

Estelle Lebost was born on June 5, 1914, in the Bronx, and graduated from James Monroe High School. Estelle was a painter and visual artist. In fact she met Carl Reiner, her husband, while she was designing sets for htel shows in the Catskills. When Estelle turned 60 she became a cabaret singer, recording several CDs and performing regularly as late as 2005. S

Estelle Getty leaves behind her husband Carl Reiner, son Rob Reiner, Lucas; a daughter, Annie; and five grandchildren, all of Los Angeles.
