Judge Extends Jamie Spears Conservatorship Over Britney Spears’ Affairs (Photos)
Posted on October 29, 2008
Britney Spears’ conservatorship has now been extended. Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, took charge of Britney’s property and finances back in February after her public meltdown. But a judge has decided to continue with Jamie Spears handling of the singer’s affairs.
The conservatorship, which allows Jamie Spears and several attorneys to control Britney’s finances, was due to end on December 31. But a judge has now extended it beyond the end of 2008.

Britney Spears, 26, is said to be happy and approve of the ruling. Spears is preparing for her album released for Circus on December 2.
Britney Spears can apply to have the conservatorship removed at some point in the future, but otherwise the order is a lifetime arrangement.
What do you guys think of the judge’s decision?
