“Soul Train’s” Don Cornelius Arrested For Domestic Violence (Pics)

The former host of the tv show “Soul Train”, Don Cornelius, was arrested on Saturday for suspicion of domestic violence, police stated.

Police were called to Don Cornelius’ Hollywood Hills home late Friday after someone reported a domestic dispute, Officer Sam Park said.

Cornelius, 72, was taken in to jail, and boked on investigation of felony domestic violence. Don Cornelius has already been released on $50,000 bail, and has to appear in court this next month.

The person Don Cornelius was accused of assaulting has not yet been released. Could it be is younger wife Victoria?

A call to Cornelius’ production office was not immediately returned.

Most of us remember Don Cornelius hosting “Soul Train” back in the 1970’s. Cornelius stepped down from the show in 1993.
