Sex addict David Duchovny and wife Téa Leoni have separated but why? Of course we all figured it was David Duchovny’s sex addiction that caused the split, even though he had received treatment in rehab. But the rumor is that actress Tea Leoni had an affair with fellow co-star Billy Bob Thornton. WTF?

According to the Daily Mail , David Duchovny’s sex addiction isn’t what caused the end of their marriage. But it seems Duchovny discovered racy and explicit text messages on his wife’s phone, sent by Billy Bob Thornton. Interesting!

By reading the text messages, David Duchovny could tell his wife, Tea Leoni, had a relationship with actor Billy Bob Thornton, 53, who was once married to Angelina Jolie. (Still can’t figure how he managed that though).

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni are separated after being married 11 years.

Billy Bob Thornton has been married five times now, and met Tea Leoni when they filed the comedy movie together this year called “Manure”.

Billy Bob Thornton is a musician (or thinks he is), and Tea Leoni has been spotted at his gigs. A friend of the couple said, “She even helps him load and unload his truck.”

Pretty interesting eh? Of course Billy Bob Thornton’s reps deny the affair.
