Michelle Williams & Spike Jonze Taking Romance Public (Pictures)

Michelle Williams and boyfriend Spike Jonze attended a Cinema Society screening of their new film, Synecdoche, New York in Manhattan Wednesday night, and were spotted walking out with Jonze rubbing Williams’ back and putting his arm around her waist.

The couple held hands as they walked through the lobby, where they met up with Synecdoche costar Catherine Keener. The two ladies talked and ate popcorn while Jonze had his arm around Michelle William’s back again. Finally some PDA out of this couple!

“He couldn’t seem to keep his hands off her,” said an onlooker. “It was very cute.”

The couple then headed to the Gramercy Hotel’s rooftop club for the Mulberry-sponsored afterparty, and that is where the couple was seen “canoodling”.

Spike Jonze and Michelle Williams stood so closely together that they were “practically spooning,” said one fellow guest.

And later at around 1 a.m., Michelle Williams and Jonze had a little makeout session on their way to the elevator.

Williams, 28, has a 2 year-old daughter named Matilda, with her late usband, Heath Ledger. Williams actually met director Spike Jonze in 2006 while auditioning for his movie “Where the Wild Things Are. Then Jonze and Williams met up again last year when she signed on to star in Synecdoche, which he produced.

It’s nice to see Michelle Williams finding love again with Spike Jonze, after the death of Heath Ledger.
