Katherine Heigl & Husband Josh Kelley Adopting Baby (Photos)

Grey’s Anatomy Star Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelly said to be adopting a baby. Heigl and Kelley are reportedly adopting from Korea, and have chosen the adoption agency and are filling out their paperwork.

Katherine Heigl, 29, decided against getting pregnant and decided she wanted to adopt because of her upcoming movie projects. Pregnancy would affect her scheduling of her work, and Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley decided adoption was their best option.

Katherine Heigl apparently wants a baby from Korea because her older sister, Meg, was adopted from Korea.

“They’ve finally decided adoption is the best option for them right now. Katherine’s got several movie projects in the pipeline and a pregnancy would bring her career to a halt for a while,” the National Enquirer reports of Heigl and Kelley’s adoption option. As for the actress’ sister Meg, the publication claimed she “has had a profound impact on Katherine’s life, which is why she and Josh are trying to adopt a Korean child.”

Actress Katerine Heigl is most well-know as Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens in televisions “Grey’s Anatomy”. Katherine and Josh Kelley met on the set of his music video for “Only You”. The couple dated and became engaged in June of 2006. Heigl and Kelley married in a small ceremony on December 23, 2007.
