The awesome DJ AM attended the benefit concert in Hollywood on Tuesday night. DJ AM was one of the lucky ones to survive a deadly plane crash this past month, along with good friend Travis Barker.
The concert lasted around five hours and was called “Welcome Home DJ AM,” whose real name is Adam Goldstein. Friends joined the concert including celebrity DJs Mark Ronson, Mix Master Mike, Steve Aoki, and Danny Masterson.
Travis Barker, who was severely burned in the plane crash, remains in a hospital in Los Angeles. Barker says that his DJ AM is providing him with the “inspiration” he needs for a full recovery.
“I’ve known him since we were kids. I just saw him for the first time [since the crash] and it was literally an amazing moment,” said Cisco Adler about Goldstein.
“I hung out with Adam the other day, he’s home, and he’s doing great. Adam is still I think in shock. He can’t believe what happened. It’s a miracle,” said friend Simon Rex.
The concert, which drew a crowd of 1,500 people, was to benefit the families of plane crash victims, which included Barker’s assistant, Lil’ Chris Baker, and his bodyguard, Charles “Che” Still. In attendance were Hilary Duff and Chris Masterson.
