Gale Harold Injured In Motorcycle Accident (Pictures)

Desperate Housewives actor, Gale Harold, is in critical condition and being evaluated after being hospitalized with injuries incurred in a Tuesday motorcycle accident, a spokeswoman for USC Medical Center tells the Associated Press. Gale Harold is a newcomer to Desperate Housewives and plays Teri Hatcher’s love interest.

Actor Gale Harold is presently said to be in critical condition after a motorcycle accident on Tuesday.

“We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident,” the Queer as Folk alum’s publicist tells TVGuide.com. “He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery.”

Though original reports and statements suggested that Harold’s primary injury was done to a shoulder, sources tell TVGuide.com that the actor also suffered a head injury. Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry told the AP that Harold apparently has swelling on the brain, but is expected to recover.

Gale Harold was heading towards the ABC Desperate Housewives set before getting into the accident. No one else was injured in the crash.
