Paris Bennett Gives Birth To A Daughter Named Egypt (Photos)

American Idol star Paris Bennett gave birth to a baby girl on Monday in Minneapolis. Paris Bennett was on season 5 of American Idol and finished 5th in the show. Read more about Paris Bennett’s baby girl Egypt below.

Paris Bennett, 20, was in labor for about five hours and gave birth to a little girl weighing 5 pounds and 15 ounces. Bennett’s little girl was named Egypt.

Paris says, “I’m so excited to finally see my little angel and man does she have lungs on her I guess she’s gearing up to be the next American Idol.”

Bennett’s rep told US Magazine, “The proud first time mother is doing well and recovering. Paris’ mother Jamecia Bennett and her family is filled with excitement and welcomes their bundle of joy.”

Paris has other things going in her life including a Christmas CD that releases on October 14th entitled “A Royal Christmas”.
